Spring + Allergies!
We are finally seeing the snow melt around town and that signals another year of seasonal allergies (ha-choo). To help minimize symptoms, we offer several services that can help with the struggle your immune system is facing. Halotherapy is a 30-minute session, where you sit in a room that has pharmaceutical-grade microsized salt dispersed in the air, which helps to loosen mucus. It also is great for relaxation!
Two other allergy solutions would be considering an allergy or immune IV infusion to give your body the supportive nutrients to manage histamine, or taking a supplement to help break down histamine more effectively. Extra vitamin D is always a suggestion, as it helps support your immune system!
Staff Updates
Our team added an intern this past month —Nani! She is learning about integrative health and exploring what carrier field to pursue in the holistic medicine world. We are welcoming back a familiar face (Aislinn!) and we are sadly saying goodbye to Ashley, as she moves to the Eastcoast with her family and new husband. Her last month is this May. Aislinn will be learning her administrative assistant position.
We are still looking for an integrative nurse and another wellness tech, so please pass on that we are hiring. The information is posted on the job page .
New Summer Hours
Starting June 1st, we will be closed on Mondays. This has been our slowest day in the past and allows for additional recovery time for our team (we need it too!). Jodi will add additional infusion days if the schedule fills up. Speaking of infusions, please plan ahead and get yours on the schedule for this summer! As our only infusion nurse, she enjoys her summer too, and will be out most of July.
Jodi is VERY excited about adding a new therapy to our IV services — ozone IV therapy! Jodi and Dr. Tansky did the training last November on Major Autohemotherapy (MAH) ozone and felt it was a beneficial therapy to bring aboard for our clientele who suffer from long-Covid, autoimmune disorders, Lyme, and more!
Float Reminders + Suds
Please make sure you are rinsing (and scrubbing) off all of the body products and soap from your skin and hair before entering our tanks. You may have seen some bubbles (or two) in our tanks lately and that is due to clients not washing thoroughly. The increase in suds is harder for us to maintain water chemistries, and also can damage the wet vac equipment we use to clean the floors timely between appointments. We have been experiencing delays between floats when we need to take care of a suds event. We appreciate you not using personal body products in our float showers while you are at the center. We pride ourselves in offering high-quality, organic, fragrance/allergen-free body products from ONEKA.
As always, we value your patronage here at Elevate Wellness Center. We are able to stay in business due to your loyalty and belief in us.
With gratitude,
